The Arthur's have moved!

It's official. WE HAVE MOVED! It's been a crazy week. The movers came on Monday and thankfully Nonna and Pappy were here to help us out with Macie. In addition to having the movers, we had a new refrigerator delivered, new furniture delivered and painters working in the house. My friend, Tracey, helped me with the paint colors and the colors are awesome! The painters should be done tomorrow so we can finally begin to hang pictures, etc.

I finally located my camera late last night but I haven't taken pictures yet - definitely stay tuned.

Also, Macie was a little out of sorts for a few days, but she has discovered that all this space is fun to WALK around in. :) We absolutely need to get a baby gate since we have a second story loft and Macie is obsessed with climbing the stairs. She is not going to be happy when we gate those stairs off. In the mean time, I am getting plenty of exercise climbing the stairs repeatedly all day long!

Macie and Santa

We brought Macie to visit with Santa Claus today. She looked super cute in her Christmas outfit, but she wasn't very thrilled to sit on Santa's lap. Even with Jim and I both jumping around and clapping and holding teddy bears and jingle bells, this was the best picture we could get out of her. At least in this one she wasn't crying!

Thanksgiving weekend!

Macie's second Thanksgiving was fun and filled with lots of family time. We traveled to Jacksonville to spend the holiday with Nonna, Pappy, Chris, Jamie and the rest of the family.
Here is little Macie Moo in her Thanksgiving outfit. Isn't it cute? I could not stop eating her up with kisses!
Since all of Macie's cousins are boys, she learned to play very well with the match cars!
Macie and Pappy in the garden waving to us...

Macie and Nonna....

Macie and Pappy (aka. Goofy Dennis). He is so goofy that she is always laughing at him!

We are looking forward to seeing Nonna and Pappy again for Christmas. If all goes well, we will be in our new house before the big holiday. Keep your fingers crossed!

Macie and Momma

Since Macie crawls around screaming MOMMA all day long at the top of her lungs, I thought I would post some pictures of us. Although this morning I tried to take her from Jim and she pushed my hands away and said "nwo" (her version of "no"). Daddy thought it was sooooo funny...so I made him change the poopy diaper! I got the last laugh! ha ha.

Oh, and for those of you who have listened to me complain about how my wonderful baby suddenly turned into a crying, clingy, fuss monster over the past three weeks....Jim found a tooth in the BACK of her mouth yesterday. I swear, I look everyday but in the front because she won't let me look in the back. After further review, he found one....in total there were THREE. Poor baby girl. Geez, can you say BAD MOM... ay yi yi.

Macie is excited to be standing in her baby brother's room. She is hiding my "bump" but I promise, it really is there!

Macie wanted to test out the carpet and see how it feels on crawling knees. Hopefully she will learn to walk all over it soon!

Macie...showing her ass. I am sure it won't be the first time over the next 18 years she shows her ass. :)

The Arthur's find a house!

We finally found a house that we love! The house includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a loft. Its located in a nice subdivision in Lutz, which is convenient to everything in Tampa. Not to far north, but not in the city limits either. We went to see the house today for the second time so I have included a few pictures...

Here is the front (that is the neighbor's truck in the driveway)...

A huge shower so no matter how big my belly gets, I will fit! :)
The loft has a big open area, plus a bedroom and full bath. Perfect guest spot!

A view of the formal dinning room and the great room. The master bedroom is off to the side on the left...
We are super excited. This is a great house and one that we will be able to stay in for years to come. It will fit our little family for now and our expanding family in May! We will keep everyone posted!

Joe the plumber!

We spent last weekend in Orlando with Aunt Jaime, Uncle Chris and Dorine. It was super fun! We had dinner, went to Universal Studios and just had a good, relaxing time.

While we were there, Macie decided that she wants to be a plumber when she grows up. Do you think she will change her mind when she discovers stilletto heels?

I am not real sure, but there seems to be a leak in here....

Peek-a-boo...ok, back to work on this leak....

Seriously, the only way I could get her out from under the sink was to con her with a bottle! Once she saw the bottle she came out quicker than she went in...

IT'S A.....

BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY!!!!!!

We are super excited! Although...what on earth will I do with a boy? I dunno, but I guess I will learn very quickly in May! Everything is great: Macie is a daddy's little girl and now I will have a little man. A mama's boy! YIPEE!!
I celebrated by buying my little man some fashionable blue items today!

Happy Halloweeny!

Can you believe this was Macie's SECOND Halloween? She dressed as a hula girl and she had a great time! We went to the park for some pictures and then to Stephanie's house to visit with Aurelia, the lady bug.

Uh, mom...I am not so sure about this costume thing. Do I look okay?
Ok, if you say I look cute, I'll take your word for it...
Shoot, I will even pose and smile!

Happy Halloween! We hope everyones was safe, fun and filled with lots of candy! :)

Bam bam

Not the best pictures of the pony, but the only ones I have. It is super cute though...

She looks identical to my baby pictures. A total mini-me!

The Sassy Biscuit!

Ok, I think I am starting to feel better. Well, it really depends on the day...but I promise to be more diligent with the blog again!

Today the weather was GORGEOUS! So, Macie and I went to the park to play after her second nap. Now, I realize that her hair is completely in her face, but she is subborn and so am I. She immediately pulls clips and bows out of her hair...and I refuse to cut it. As a result, it is in her face. I have started to give her a little bam bam pony tail on top of her head, but I didn't get any pictures of it today. :(

Little Miss Drool Face!

She LOVES the swing now. Everytime I would push her higher she would giggle and squeal.

Well, she is not walking yet but she is super close. Every now and then she will stand up and take a few steps and then plop down and crawl. It's just faster for her to get what she wants by crawling, but walking is right around the corner!
Other than that, I am 13 weeks pregnant and we should find out the gender on November 10th so stay tuned....

Slacker!

I know I have slacked terribly the last few weeks. But I must admit, I haven't felt the greatest so it has been difficult to get out with the camera. Hopefully I will start to feel better soon! It is NO fun to be quesy and chasing a crawling, almost walking, baby!

On the other hand, I had my second doctors appointment today. Everything went well. We even had an ultrasound and we were able to see the little bean moving around like crazy. It has little arms, legs and fingers. So cute!

Macie and I went to little Tyler's "baby naming" yesterday. Here is a picture of me and Macie Moo. She was running out of patience. I had to hold her for awhile, and all she really wanted to do was get down and play in their china cabinet. I don't think so! :)

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!

Oh, Macie. I can't believe you are ONE year old today. I was thinking about the days when you were a newborn and how tiny you were and how much you have grown over the past year. When you were a newborn, you had the "little lamb" cry and now you babble like a little girl.

You are the most beautiful little girl and you have brought your father and I so much joy and love over the past year. We love you so much little Macie Moo!

Mommy works on Tuesday and Thursdays and Macie goes to daycare. Daddy brought Macie flowers at daycare today for her birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE GIRLY! Many many many more to come!

Pool Party!

We had a wonderful weekend in Jacksonville! Nonna and Pappy threw Macie a pool party so that our family and friends could help her celebrate her FIRST birthday! Macie ate an entire slice of pizza and she was also quite the swimmer!

Here is her cute little smash cake...

I don't think Macie thought it was so cute. Please, God, let there be a day that I cry when someone puts cake in front of me! :)

But swimming with Pappy sure was fun!

A special thanks to all of our frineds and family who were able to come celebrate with Macie. We all had a great time and we look forward to seeing everyone again very soon!

The Arthur's will be in Jacksonville for Thanksgiving and Macie is already talking about turkey!

Do you see what I see?

Looks like a plus to me! :) Baby Arthur #2 is due May 1, 2009! Jim, Macie and I are super excited. Especially Macie, she wants a little brother or sister to play with. Apparently mommy is boring. Ha!

Our morning at Hyde Park Village

Macie and I went to Hyde Park Village this morning. It's a nice little outdoor shopping area with a cute little fountain in the middle. We walked around and then Macie played around the edge of the fountain. She is obsessed with water.
As you can see, Macie is my little professional stander-upper. She is also becoming a perfectionist at walking while holding onto furniture....or the ledge of the fountain for that matter! :)

Aunt Lauren taught Macie how to say "ut oh" so whenever she drops something or knocks something over, she says "ut oh". It's so cute, you can't even imagine.

Macie will be ONE in less than two weeks! Can you believe how quickly this year has flown by? It makes me cry everytime I think about it. Sniff sniff.

Nothing much new with the Arthur's. We are still looking for a house and we found two that we really like. Hopefully we can put in some offers and see who wants to play ball. We'll keep everyone posted!

Chore Girl

Macie LOVES the play with the vaccum cleaner. She promises to do a real good job of cleaning the floors when she is old enough!

Looks like she is old enough to me....

A windy day at the beach!

Today we had a suprise party to attend in St. Pete Beach for a good friend of ours. It was a ton of fun, and we got there a little early to take some cute beach pics. It was super windy and cloudy, but the pictures came out pretty good!

Picking up a seashell...
Macie loves to stand now, but she can't do it on her own yet.
Macie and daddy...

Not much else to report here. We have been house hunting and found a house that we loved, but somebody else put in a full price offer. What suckers. Who does that in this market? Oh well, there was one...there will be many more!
Oh, Macie finally took a sippy cup today. It only took me three months and about 12 different kinds, but it worked! I was so happy I could scream! :)
