Playgroup

Macie and I belong to a playgroup that we attend on Wednesday afternoons. Last Wednesday the weather was beautiful and out playgroup met at a local park. Macie was loving the slide and my very good friend, Jenna, took the most awesome picture of Macie. I made a darn cute little girl! Note, however, that I definitely did not skimp on her lungs, I have found this out as we enter the terrible two's! :)

30 Weeks Today!

Time is flying by! I am 30 weeks pregnant today...so only 10 weeks to go. I had Macie at 38 weeks, so it "could" be sooner than 10 weeks. We'll see.

Here are some random shots of Macie. Note - she only takes one bottle a day and that is at bedtime. I am not ready to break this habit right now because she loves her bedtime bottle and it makes my life easy. I know...it's bad....

For a baby that has the most adorable clothes on the planet, she sure does love to hang out in her "baby thong".

Here is Macie's profile shot. Her belly is big like mine!

And here I am at 30 weeks. Can we all agree that it is more of an explosion than a "bump"....

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today was Jim's birthday, and Macie and I wanted to make it extra special. Macie is always asleep when Jim leaves for work on Thursdays, but he always stops to visit her at daycare. So, I had a shirt made for her to wear. The front said "happy birthday daddy" and the back had the number 39. The shirt was adorable on her and it made Jim's day! We also made him a nice dinner, baked him a birthday cake and bought him the Wii Fit. :)

Here is Macie giving her daddy a birthday kiss....

This is the cutest picture ever, and these are my two favorite people in the world!

I love the refrigerator...

Macie's favorite place is the refrigerator. Ironic for a girl that doesn't like to eat very much! When I open the fridge, she wants to sit in there and play with the items on the bottom shelf of the door. Of course, I try to be quick about opening and shutting the door, but I don't always win. Mainly because it's kinda cute. When I pull her out of there, her butt is always cold. It's funny!

Macie's love for the refrigerator goes along with Jim's plan: he says if we can get Macie to love food, we can get her to 300 pounds and then she will always stay with us. He also tells her, "don't worry Macie, I will take you to prom". Silly boy! :)

The whip topping. She loves to play with the bottle but doens't like how it tastes. Geez. I wish I didn't like how it tastes!

This refrigerator game always results in a big mess with salad dressing bottles and everything scattered on the floor...
