Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!

Oh, Macie. I can't believe you are ONE year old today. I was thinking about the days when you were a newborn and how tiny you were and how much you have grown over the past year. When you were a newborn, you had the "little lamb" cry and now you babble like a little girl.

You are the most beautiful little girl and you have brought your father and I so much joy and love over the past year. We love you so much little Macie Moo!

Mommy works on Tuesday and Thursdays and Macie goes to daycare. Daddy brought Macie flowers at daycare today for her birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE GIRLY! Many many many more to come!

Pool Party!

We had a wonderful weekend in Jacksonville! Nonna and Pappy threw Macie a pool party so that our family and friends could help her celebrate her FIRST birthday! Macie ate an entire slice of pizza and she was also quite the swimmer!

Here is her cute little smash cake...

I don't think Macie thought it was so cute. Please, God, let there be a day that I cry when someone puts cake in front of me! :)

But swimming with Pappy sure was fun!

A special thanks to all of our frineds and family who were able to come celebrate with Macie. We all had a great time and we look forward to seeing everyone again very soon!

The Arthur's will be in Jacksonville for Thanksgiving and Macie is already talking about turkey!

Do you see what I see?

Looks like a plus to me! :) Baby Arthur #2 is due May 1, 2009! Jim, Macie and I are super excited. Especially Macie, she wants a little brother or sister to play with. Apparently mommy is boring. Ha!

Our morning at Hyde Park Village

Macie and I went to Hyde Park Village this morning. It's a nice little outdoor shopping area with a cute little fountain in the middle. We walked around and then Macie played around the edge of the fountain. She is obsessed with water.
As you can see, Macie is my little professional stander-upper. She is also becoming a perfectionist at walking while holding onto furniture....or the ledge of the fountain for that matter! :)

Aunt Lauren taught Macie how to say "ut oh" so whenever she drops something or knocks something over, she says "ut oh". It's so cute, you can't even imagine.

Macie will be ONE in less than two weeks! Can you believe how quickly this year has flown by? It makes me cry everytime I think about it. Sniff sniff.

Nothing much new with the Arthur's. We are still looking for a house and we found two that we really like. Hopefully we can put in some offers and see who wants to play ball. We'll keep everyone posted!

Chore Girl

Macie LOVES the play with the vaccum cleaner. She promises to do a real good job of cleaning the floors when she is old enough!

Looks like she is old enough to me....
